Friday 1st June 2012 - Provisional start date for RNLI Beach Lifeguard Cover on King Edward's Bay, Tynemouth Longsands, Cullercoats Bay and Whitley Bay between 10am and 6pm.
Sunday 2nd September 2012 - Provisional end date for RNLI Beach Lifeguard Cover
Brigade members will be carrying out Sea Safety Demonstrations at the following events which are open to the public:
Tynemouth RNLI Lifeboat Day - Sunday 22nd July 2012 - 10am-3pm - the Brigade will be in attendance carrying out a Breeches Buoy demonstration.
Cullercoats Harbour Day - Saturday 18th August 2012 - time tbh - the Brigade will once again be on hand carrying out a demonstration of their rescue capabilities.
Tynemouth RNLI Lifeboat Day and Cullercoats Harbour Day will include an air sea rescue demonstration with an RAF Rescue Helicopter (subject to operational needs) along with live music, fresh fish stalls, arts and crafts stalls, attractions and much more!
